Daniel + Emily | A DIY Barn Wedding at Hidden Creek in Heath, TX

You never know what you’re going to get when planning an outdoor wedding in Texas. But Daniel and Emily didn’t let a little rain, (ok, a massive thunderstorm) dampen their day. Seriously, those two were just happy to be getting married! We were lucky enough to sneak in their first look and some portraits outside earlier in the day. When the rain came, everyone worked together to get everything setup again, and this time inside the Hidden Creek Barn.  Family and friends from across the country came to celebrate and witness this sweet couple tie the knot. I hope you enjoy some of these highlights!

The earrings she wore were her late grandmother’s.

Don’t all Texas brides include a little Chik-fil-a on the most important day of her life?

Daniel and Emily’s first look was so sweet.

How sweet is Emily’s ring bearer, Ezra? (He’s my son, so I may be partial).

And here comes the rain!

Emily chose not to have real flowers, but instead had her bridesmaids help her make paper flower bouquets out of pages from books!

It was a beautiful evening! Congrats, you two!!
