It was an honor to have this luxury autumn wedding inspo at Devil’s Thumb Ranch featured on STYLE ME PRETTY’s FRONT PAGE.
With the temperatures dipping outside and your wedding planning probably aiming towards warmer times, here’s some warmth and inspiration for you if you’re thinking about a rich color palette with a luxurious and contemporary vibe.
Devil’s Thumb Ranch is the definition of luxury, and has the award-winning spa, restaurant, and modern accommodations to prove it. This rustic, yet enchanting venue overlooks breathtaking panoramic views of it’s 6,000 tree-filled acres making it the perfect place to say ‘I do’.
Surrounded by a plethora of woodland, rolling hills, and wildflowers, Florist, Something Styled Co, created a love story inspired by the natural beauty of the area. Sarah brought bucket upon bucket of foraged foliage to create the amazing and magical circular wedding arch for the ceremony site and adorned tablescape.
One of my favorite aspects of the shoot, beyond the color choices, is the mixture of various textural elements. Lauren from Line Avenue Calligraphy brought together a stationery suite that featured multiple tones of handmade paper. Her work brought in an organic feel that kept an antique and natural feel alive when playing off of our more modern and sleek choices like the minimalistic flatware and candle holders by Colorado Party Rentals.
Fall in love with, not one but, TWO wedding dresses from La Vallee Bridal. The cape on the Marchesa gown and lace sleeves and high neck details on the Alon Livne White gown are lovely. Both of these sophisticated dresses paired beautifully with our bride, Katie’s, Bella Belle shoes.
Colorado gave us a mix of weather on the day of our shoot but everyone really worked together to set up and take down, and then set up all over again between rain showers. It was all worth it in the end to create this rich and timeless inspired wedding!
