It was a blast over at the Rockwall Salons last weekend getting to shoot Meghan Bannister hard at work, making people beautiful. It’s what she does. And she does it well. Meghan and I go all the way back to high school. She and her husband lead a small group at LakePointe church and have such  genuine hearts. I always enjoy when it’s time for my hair appointment because, not only do I leave feeling gorgeous, but I also leave feeling so spiritually and emotionally full. I love going in and getting to chat about life experiences, about being a wife, Mom, daughter, and friend. It’s encouraging. It’s relaxing. It’s “me” time and every Mommy knows how important it is to carve out those moments for yourself. Plus every time I go to visit their salon, Meghan and her sister-in-law, Anna (her “suitemate”), always have everything decorated so sweetly!! Eye candy everywhere you look. From the mason jars adorned with wild flowers, to the hand-painted faux brick wall and all the succulents and anthropologie inspired decor in between, this place is super inviting. I recommend Meghan for her skills as a hairstylist but, honestly, with her you get the whole experience.
