When your kids fly in from Seattle to visit and you have all 8 of the people that matter most to you are in the same place at the same time, you sing Hallelujah. Then you get pictures. And when possible, you hire a professional. That’s exactly what Rosie did when she learned her they’d have their son and daughter in law, Matt and Jenny, in town for a long weekend. Rosie and her husband, Donald, (Mimi and Papa), just recently moved down to Wylie from Washington to be closer to their daughter and son-in-law, Bethany and Tyler, and grandkids, Levi and Lydia.

We met at the couples’ beautiful new home in Wylie where I was able to learn a little bit more about their story while the little Lydia finished getting dressed. When everyone was ready to go, we caravanned 10 minutes down the road to the historical Birmingham house to start the shoot. Levi, a lively 3 year old, kept us on our toes during and made us work for any photos of him during our session. His one year old sister was happy to smile and pose for us while walking around on the grass and climbing the step stool I brought along.

The Gebhart family is so very precious and I was honored they asked me to capture these sweet moments during their time together. I hope you enjoy!
