Jaycie and Matthew, oh how I adore these two! I met Jaycie earlier this year over coffee to discuss their wedding plans and photography needs, and I am SO happy they sealed the deal with me! Their October 2018 wedding is one I’m really looking forward to – as it sounds right up my ally style-wise!

We met at a beautiful park in Garland for their sweet (and warm) Summer engagement session, and I’m so grateful we made it before the storm blew in! Heather’s wardrobe choice  helped to create that bright & airy look that makes me just swoon. And with that golden light peering through the trees; my photographer heart is FULL!

Here is a little bit about their story as told by Jaycie:

“Matthew and I met May of 2016. I was living in Denton while attending UNT. My best friend Kalyn was dating one of Matthew’s friends from high school and they both came to Denton for a graduation party. We met that night and all hung out and had so much fun, there was an instant connection. The next day he texted me asking if he could make me dinner later that week. We started dating about two months after.

Matthew proposed in Breckinridge Colorado while we were visiting his brother who recently moved there. We were in the town square and snow was pouring down all around us. He took me up the steps where all the shops were and proposed in the middle of the town. It was absolutely perfect, everyone was cheering for us on the streets and he had the waitress from lunch take pictures of the entire event!

I love how positive Matthew is. He always tries to find the best in every situation and helps me to do the same. “
